 This is just me trying to vent because some people just don't know how to act sometimes. I could be one of them sometimes but in PUBLIC , that is totally unacceptable.I have kept quiet for so many years but today, i mean today is the JUDGMENT DAY for such behavior and the people who actually practice or display them for me to see. 1, Talking loud on your cell phone in public : That one is my number pet peeve. I don't want to listen to your conversation. I don't want to know about the fight between you and your girlfriend or how your parents didn't transfer money into your account, it is none of my business so please keep your voice down when you are talking on your cell phone. PLEASE. I will be fored to exercise violence next time and it may include snatching the phone and flinging it against the wall,such phones will include (Blackberry, Iphone 4, Droid. )!!!!!!!!!! 2. Elevator Traffic : Okay some people dont know how to get in and out of elevators, i will help ...

So today, i was reading about the change of zodiac signs with regard to change in constellation shifts to accomodate a change in each millenia ( well i dont really care what the explanation is ) and so most people would have new Zodiac signs if there was a big change in the dates and now there is a 13th sign. 13 sounds odd. 12 seems better, the 12 disciples, 12 months etc. Why 13?  So these are the new signs for people who really believe that it would make a huge difference in their lives. So now astronomers are telling people of the earth that the earth is aligned differently today and so that has caused the shift in the date causing a change in the zodiac sign and all along the 13th sign has been skipped but the ancient Babylonians preferred 12 signs instead of 13. All this mumbo jumbo is too much for me to decipher. So my old zodiac sign was Aries now I am a Pisces and it has absolutely no match with my personality so am i supposed to say that this is just a whole bun...

Finally the long anticipated 2011 is here. A brand new year, a fresh start and a new page in each of our lives. Hopefully a better blogging year for me.

When people pray not to be at the right place at the wrong time it baffles me,i always thought there was no such thing until last Monday, December the 13th. I had decided to go to the bank on Tuesday the 14th to do bank transactions for my job instead of Monday, i had other things to do that day but my boss made it seem urgent. I was bent on not going at all until i conceded around 4pm in the evening. I was talking to the bank manager who was going through the account and after she was done, i went up to the teller to write a check of a very significant amount. The teller had just taken my driver's license and my bank card for identity verification and she was running the check when I heard a voice beside me say "Give me the money, all of it , right now". At first I thought it was a random customer talking since it sounded casual and thought it was a joke until I looked at the African American man beside me with a paper bag and a gun and then i am thinking in my head ...

I was about eleven years old when Ken Saro Wiwa was executed. The whole NigerDelta politics made me cringe, it was one thing or another and back then i really didnt understand much until he was executed. A few years later, I came across a book he wrote and it sometimes make me wish he was still alive.I havent read much of his publications but it was a really good read. I highly recommend this book. Why is it that the most people with potential lie in their graves?This makes me beleieve that everyday is an opportuinity to make a difference to become a better person. Ken may not have had a chance like you or I  but he died for a cause and is a hero in the Ogoni land and in Nigeria.
